Welcome to the Photo Notes section of the Stacy House website.
As you will see, the site has many diverse sections. Each section covers a different aspect of my life after 'retirement'! This section contains information and samples of the "PhotoNotes" that I created from my photography.
The 2003 display of my photography at the Ocean Coffee Roasters has led to a new venture.
Following that display, I produced a line of note cards that I call 'PhotoNotes'.
These note cards feature my photos of popular Newport scenes and matching envelopes. The first few have to do with the:
- Old Colony & Newport Railway,
- Trinity Church,
- Newport Gulls at Cardines Field,
- De La Salle Academy,
- Ocean Drive,
- McKillop Library at Salve Regina University,
- Commissioning of the USS Chafee [DDG 90],
- N.P.R. Sagres [Portuguese Sail Training ship], and
- Newport's commercial fishing fleet.
These note cards were originally sold at about 6 local stores. When I got involved in other ventures, I stopped selling them at the local stores. However, the production is ongoing. They continue to be available through this website.
