Stacy House was built in 1725 and was moved to this site in the early 1750s. At the time of the move, its address was 1 Fourth Street. In 1863, Fourth Street was abandoned to become the main railroad track into the City of Newport. In 1978, I purchased the property so that I could return to Newport, my home town, in later life. |
