Head Injury Altered Cerebral Tissue Perfusion
Expectations
The client is expected to maintain a normal ICP, maintain appropriate vital signs and ABGs, and improve LOC.
Interventions
Severe head injuries – admitted to CCU or trauma center.
Minor head injuries – either admitted to general nursing unit for 2-hour observation or sent home with instructions.
