Peripheral Nervous System Restless Leg Syndrome
The client complains of intense “crawling-type” sensations in the limbs and subsequently feels the need to move the limbs repeatedly.
Diagnosis is made on history and there is no known etiology.
Management is symptomatic.
Antiembolism stockings may be helpful.
Some medications that may help include: Catapres, Tegretol, Clonidine.
